HSN’s Q1 online sales climb nearly 11%

Web sales took a healthy tick upwards for HSN Inc. in the first quarter.

For the quarter ended March 31, HSN, No. 25 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, recorded:

Total web sales, which include HSN.com and the Cornerstone Brands e-commerce sites, increased 10.9% to $256.8 million from $231.6 million in the first quarter of 2009.
Total sales increased 8.5% to $683.2 million from $629.6 million in the first quarter of 2009.
Net income rose 476.7 % to $17.3 million from $3.0 million in the first quarter of 2009.
The average ticket was $59.79 compared with $58.48 in the prior year
