Executive shifts at the nation's top retailers are in the works, with ShopNBC revealing that Scott Garozzo has joined the multichannel retailer as director of jewelry, and Neiman Marcus announcing the retirement of Burton Tansky, the company's president and chief executive officer.
Garozzo, who will be the director of jewelry for Minneapolis-based ShopNBC, previously served as senior vice president of merchandising and product development at SHR and Simmons Jewelry Co. He will report to Alex Patton, ShopNBC's vice president of jewelry. Before joining ShopNBC, Garozzo held merchandising positions in the jewelry category at QVC and Lord and Taylor.
